Every explanation is scored against every other -- a shared mechanism tag counts 4, a shared category 2, the same field 1 -- and the strongest of those become its related links. That relation is a graph, and this is it: fields joined by how often their pieces reach each other, mechanisms against the fields they turn up in, and the neighbourhood around any single piece.
